10 lessons from a baking experiment:1) clean your baking equipment before use. you never know where the lizards, cockroaches, or the resident rat have been.
2) aluminium rolls are not meant to be taken out of the cardboard box. pull the sheets out gently before you drop it and it rolls everywhere.
3) the most time-effective way of drying a freshly washed sieve is to put it in front of a fan for 30 seconds.
4) "Mix well" could either mean mix manually or with a cake mixer.
5) don't count the number of eggs you've used by matching the broken egg shells. count the empty slots in the tray instead.
6) do NOT fill the baking tray to the brim.
7) aluminium trays do not need to be lined with baking paper.
8) when you smell something burning, something probably IS burning.
9) when smoke starts coming out from your oven, TURN IT OFF.
10) have faith in your cake. :)
